a pound?
I have lost 1 lb. I guess it's better than nothin! Hopefully if they keep going by Christmas I will have lost 4 lbs. We have still been pretty constitant even though we sleep in some mornings. Sometimes I think I am running up and down the stairs enough that that should count as part of my cardio! I have been pushing my self on the weights at the gym and it feels good. Sore. But good. Now not to gain back that 1 lb during the holiday!

Is a gym, is a gym, is a gym
We have been pretty consistant for about 2 weeks now. It has felt nice even though I am so tired some days I want to just sleep all day and fall into bed every night. But I have been pushing myself and have definitely felt it!
This gym is a lot like the other one, but bigger. It has a pool, a lot more weights, machines, treadmills, elliptical's ect. It is nice because it is bigger, so even if there a quite a few people there it doesn't feel to crowded. But there are the same type of characters. Today I watched a group of (most likely) middle aged body builders instead of collage student body builders. And there is a couple of ladies that always seem to be a little to dressed for 5 am at the gym. But then again I probably look like I just rolled out of bed, and am not there to impress any one. Which is probably a good thing considering most people might be slightly afraid or nauseated at my appearance.
This morning I really wished I had long enough hair just to pull into a pony-tail and go. But that aint happening any time soon :-) So until then I will do my self up just enough to totally scare the whole gym away and kind of giggle at the ones who feel it necessary to cary around lip gloss tucked into the back of her gym shirt...yes that is what one girl does....

yes, yes, I know
I need to update more. I was supposed to use this blog as a get motivated-funny experiences-loosing weight- journal but, uh, well....I guess you could say I'm having a hard time being consistent.
We did start again though, this week. We have moved, mom is doing better, I don't have such a bum knee, we are in a little bit of a routine, and so the journey begins yet again. We go to the AF gym and it's a good gym. Although, I have to get used to the different macho guys, that are a little older and stronger. Not quiet so many mirrors for every one to stare and flex in, but a lot more equipment for everyone to use which equals a little less crowded feeling even thought the place feels HUGE.
I went off my BC and instead of gaining. I am back down to where I started. I can't move my little "ticker" yet though 'cause according to that I haven't lost anything. But I am hoping to be able to loose now that my body has evened out a little bit. So we'll see...

One month?!
Oh-man I just realized it has been one month since I updated or even worked out!! In my defense we have had major busyness going on around here, with moving and all that jazz. I KNOW I am slowing Mr. T down, but with everything I have had on my plate I just don't feel like I can add working out to it right now. But come the beginning of October that WILL change!
For those who don't know. Body-For-Life is a program that combines weight training, cardio, and a "diet" plan. It not so much of a diet as it is a way of eating change. For example in stead of eating 3 big meals a day, you eat 6 small meals. You balance out carbs, protein, and fresh fruits and veggies. It encourages you to drink A LOT more water and eat fresh stuff. It's a good program and I know a lot of people that have really slimmed down and toned up on the program.

Body for Life?
I think I am going to try the program Body for Life. I want something that WORKS!! I still have not lost ANY weight. Change my pills, change my routine, my motivation is going down hill fast! I am sick of being fat! I know fat is all relative but I am sick of my jeans that were once ok fitting now barley fitting, I am sick of watching my self in the mirror at the gym and seeing the "fat dimples" in my arms and thighs! I could look a lot worse, yes, I know that...But I also could look A LOT better!
It's not just the lbs that count it's the fitness level I am at. I have notice a big difference in that since I started working out several months ago, so that's a plus. I still would like to get rid of that "relief society arm" and all those dimples and that flabby belly...you get the idea! I just figure after 1 1/2 years of having had a baby that I still wouldn't look like I just had one!
For the most part I am just venting...I would really like to try the Body for Life and give it a good go for 6 weeks. I need something to change! I can't take it any more! So I will work out six days a week, try the "diet" also, and pray that works.
On another note...the gym was busy today. I think the zoobies are back...

2 days
I have made it two days in a row!! I love the feeling of working out again. I am getting brave enough that if I don't want to do what Mr. T is doing then I just do something myself. I usually just make something up but at least I am doing something and I have been a little sore but I like it!
I did elliptical and bike today. I really like the bike. I trying to get brave enough to dot the spin class by myself. Maybe I can talk Mr.T into doing the spin class with me once a week. Like on Friday's or something.
