Motivation Please....

We did another weigh in today....BLAH! I gained! How in the HECK did I gain?! I have been trying to do good about going. I did miss the last two day's last week because Mr. T was out of town. I know I can eat a little better, but usually I maintain not gain! UHGG.....
 I figure it's one of two problems. 1. It's my birth control or 2. I am not pushing like I should or hard enough.
So here's the deal. I am going to push SUPER hard this month and see if I can at least loose the 3 lbs that I gained -2 more, before I run to the Doc and start complaining about how I am gaining weight. But I need help! What motivates you? I know there are at least a couple of you that read this fairly regularly...what keeps you going? I WANT a better/healthier body,but some days that doesn't seem to out weigh how much I NEED that chocolate! If you read this and have LOST weight then how did you do it? What gave you the extra push to get up and do something?
If you feel so inclined I would love a comment or two about your motivation or suggestion about what I could change....

  1. I don't know what to tell you. Get a really nice picture of you that you looked good in and put it on the fridge or pull out a pair of jeans you loved and tell yourself you will fit into those. Keep them out too so you are reminded of it.

  2. How often do you eat? I think what's helped me a bunch is my eating about every 3 hours... it doesn't give your body time to think that it's going into starvation mode and storing the energy instead of burning it. I usually eat breakfast around 7, have a snack about 9:30 or 10 (usually a small snack, fruit or small handful of nuts) then have lunch about 12:30 etc etc. You should try it and see if it helps.
