For those who don't know. Body-For-Life is a program that combines weight training, cardio, and a "diet" plan. It not so much of a diet as it is a way of eating change. For example in stead of eating 3 big meals a day, you eat 6 small meals. You balance out carbs, protein, and fresh fruits and veggies. It encourages you to drink A LOT more water and eat fresh stuff. It's a good program and I know a lot of people that have really slimmed down and toned up on the program.

One month?!
Oh-man I just realized it has been one month since I updated or even worked out!! In my defense we have had major busyness going on around here, with moving and all that jazz. I KNOW I am slowing Mr. T down, but with everything I have had on my plate I just don't feel like I can add working out to it right now. But come the beginning of October that WILL change!

Body for Life?
I think I am going to try the program Body for Life. I want something that WORKS!! I still have not lost ANY weight. Change my pills, change my routine, my motivation is going down hill fast! I am sick of being fat! I know fat is all relative but I am sick of my jeans that were once ok fitting now barley fitting, I am sick of watching my self in the mirror at the gym and seeing the "fat dimples" in my arms and thighs! I could look a lot worse, yes, I know that...But I also could look A LOT better!
It's not just the lbs that count it's the fitness level I am at. I have notice a big difference in that since I started working out several months ago, so that's a plus. I still would like to get rid of that "relief society arm" and all those dimples and that flabby belly...you get the idea! I just figure after 1 1/2 years of having had a baby that I still wouldn't look like I just had one!
For the most part I am just venting...I would really like to try the Body for Life and give it a good go for 6 weeks. I need something to change! I can't take it any more! So I will work out six days a week, try the "diet" also, and pray that works.
On another note...the gym was busy today. I think the zoobies are back...

2 days
I have made it two days in a row!! I love the feeling of working out again. I am getting brave enough that if I don't want to do what Mr. T is doing then I just do something myself. I usually just make something up but at least I am doing something and I have been a little sore but I like it!
I did elliptical and bike today. I really like the bike. I trying to get brave enough to dot the spin class by myself. Maybe I can talk Mr.T into doing the spin class with me once a week. Like on Friday's or something.

Where have I been you ask? I know your dying to know the answer, all 3 of you that read this,ha ha ha...anyway....Kids starting school
'nuff said!
I'll be back soon. I think I found my self a work out partner...now if we can get our schedules to work we'll be in business. Mr. T will still be with me of corse but I think J. will be a little more on my level :-)

Warning...If you are a man about to read this
(which I doubt you are but still just in case)
I've had it! I am going to change my birth control! I stepped on the scale today and it said +4 lbs! I know I haven't been working out for a little while, but usually I hold steady. It usually takes a lot to gain and a lot to loose. I swear, I have been watching what I eat!! I don't over indulge and I am keeping my portions down. Even sweets have become less appealing! So I am going to go talk to the doc and figure this out! And I am going to hit the gym hard!!
Mr. T and I almost went back to bed this morning (neither one of us slept last night) but we went anyway and stayed the full 1 1/2 hours. SO THERE!

Back in the saddle...I mean treadmill again...
Well today was the day we started again. I feel like I am starting over. All though, I didn't groan to loud when the alarm went off, and I did do cardio for an hour...so overall not too bad a start for re-starting!
