quick update

I haven't worked out for a couple of day because I have had to take the kids to school at 7:30 and I spend the day in provo. But I have been REALLY watching my portion control and so far the results are good -2 lbs. YAY! So I'll keep it up HURRAY!

Tae Bo day 2

So far so good. I did another day today. Just a little Ib profen to go to bed last night but enough to feel like it was a good work out!
I am off beat on the movie just a little because I need to wait for the ripples to stop after I do a kick. Sometimes I think you can hear the fat rippling back...Plus I swear he adds an extra count with out any one noticing or they do notice but aren't getting paid enough to say anything about it :-)
On the good side though, I really can tell a difference from a couple of years ago when I first tried. I make it all the way through the routine with out passing out or throwing up (although I did feel pretty nauseated the other day when I tried it) I also notice that if I eat a good breakfast not too late in the morning I don't feel so hungry. I have been working on my portion control. My mom and I have gone to smaller plates at dinner. Sometimes I go back for seconds but even that is getting less frequent and smaller amounts.
Lets keep this going and I might loose another lb or 2!

What doesn't kill you will make you stronger...

Ok, so I feel like the lady that goes on all the diet fads then decides they don't work, except for it's not diets its exercise plans, and it's probably not the plan but the girl that can't stick with them(me).
So here we go again. I know it's been awhile since I posted last but a new year, a new beginning, a new healthier me! I haven't been terrible at working out, but just not very consistent. I did Tae Bo this morning and I felt like it kicked my butt. But my stamina stayed with it pretty good, although I don't think that I will be able to walk tomorrow with out the help of my friend Mr. Ib Profen. Maybe the skinny girls on the video will keep me motivated. I want to have abs like those!
My sis-in-law wants to run a 5K this summer, so I sure hope I can do it with her. It's not too far to go and I CAN DO IT! I am sure it will be pretty slow going for me, but I think I can do it with in a 1/2 hour :-) So a few new goals and new year resolution...now I better go shower, I don't think I smell so hot...
