Today was a good day. We did shoulders. I had to laugh because we did these pull exercises (I told you I'm not expert...not sure what the exercise it called) and Mr. T was doing 25lbs and I was struggling with 5, He does 60 lbs for shoulder presses and I do 10 while breathing really hard :-) But I also think, look at the man, is kinda big and strong, I like working with him though because he tells me I am doing a good job and helps me do it right.
I decided I like the cinema room because I can watch a movie on a big screen with surround sound. It sure does make the cardio part go faster. Today Enchanted was playing. I laughed through the whole thing. I am sure the people around me thought I was crazy. I like the movie, it's just cheesy so it makes me laugh!
Watching the calories count on the treadmill/elliptical gives me more incentive to eat better because I know that for an hour of cardio I have only burned 3-4 100 callorie packs (on a good day) I have also been trying to be good about my portion control while eating. Last night we had chicken cordon blue (spling?), mashed potatoes and a salad, and it was SO good I wanted to eat until I was so full I couldn't walk. But then I thought about running on the treadmill and decided that I could stop with one serving (ok maybe I had a few bites off the kids plates when they were done)
3 good days in a row....Lets keep it up!
