Frustrated!

Mr. T and I had a weigh in today. +2.0 lbs!!!!!! I don't know what I am doing wrong. I know I could do a little better on my eating, but I didn't think I was doing to bad. I go an hour on cardio every morning. *sigh*
I am lifting weights. Should my "building muscle" still be stopping me from loosing weight? I guess that is something to look into. It's either that or my Birth Control. Either way something has to change. I need to see some results! Even if it was only loosing 1 lb I would feel better knowing something was changing.
I feel like my body is tightening up but my clothes are not fitting more loose yet. I guess I'll do a little research and diligently stick to my calorie counting and see if that helps. Don't know what else to do.

  1. Sometimes you won't see the changes that are happening inside your body... you most likely are gaining muscle that will help immensely with burning fat. I'm in the same boat. Also, muscles retain water when they're trying to rebuild after a hard workout so it could be water weight. You'll be ok. Just keep going... it's hard I know. Sometimes I focus on how much more energy I have and how much healthier I feel because I'm not seeing the pounds slide off either.

  2. Hey Connie! I found your blog, and then found this one! What a brave woman you are!!! After this next child, this is what I need to do!!! Hang in there, I have heard some people do actually gain before they lose. Mike and I did the abs diet after I had Maddie, before Chloe, and lost a good amount of weight. I have a few of the books and they have some pretty good recipes. You can also look them up online. But we still cook some of the meals even though we're not actually doing the diet.
